Frequently Asked Questions
Wait Times
"How long will I have to wait for my order after I place it?"
Normally orders that include bonnets, durags or pillowcases can take anywhere from 2-4 working days to be made.
Pickup orders: (if not same day), 2-6 working days. The day your order is placed is not counted if the order is placed after 12pm.
New Providence Delivery/Family Island Shipping: 2-8 working days
International Shipping (standard): up to 2 weeks
U.S Shipping (expedited): up to a week (COMING SOON)
Holiday seasons, fabric availability & order size can lengthen these wait times.
Tropicology™ is a small team and making each item individually is no quick task, so we thank you for your patience as we work hard to get your items in your hands as soon as possible.
"Is there a way for me to skip the wait?"
In order to have your order expedited you can ‘Rush Your Order’ which will cost an additional $7. This will have your order ready within 2-4 days. Not all orders are eligible to be rushed. Once you place an order, contact us on Whatsapp at (242) 812-1753 with your name and order number and let us know you’d like to Rush the order.
Payment
"What payment methods do you accept?"
Cash on delivery is the most preferred method of payment for customers but we also accept:
- PayPal
- Cash n Go - for Family Island orders
- Bank Transfers (Scotia Bank, Commonwealth Bank & CIBC)

We do not accept credit or debit cards at this time.
We do not begin orders for family island or international customers until they are paid for, or orders over $35 that require a deposit.
About Shipping (USA & Canada)
We ship to parts of the United States & Canada via the Bahamas Postal System which works with the United States Postal Service (USPS) to get your package to your door.
About Delivery
"Do you deliver? "
Yes we do! Delivery is a flat rate at $5.00. We only deliver on two days out of the week but you will be able to select a day when we contact you after placing an order.
"How to choose delivery at Checkout?"
After you add everything you want to your cart select ‘Check Out’> select ‘Delivery’ and fill out the address information after. Then, hit ‘Continue’ and select the delivery option.
"What time is delivery?"
Deliveries usually start around noon on the designated day. Unfortunately, we aren’t always able to give an exact time period of when we’ll be delivering, but if it becomes possible you will be informed.
Pick Up
"Can I pick up my order?"
Yes, you can . Everything we sell is individually made. If you miss your scheduled pick up time twice without a feasible reason your items will either return to inventory or be sold (you’ll have to reorder if you would like it). If you already paid, we will try our best to issue a refund but this is not always possible for reasons far beyond our control. Check out our Refund Policy for more.
"Where is pick up?"
The location for pick up varies and is given once the ordered is confirmed through contact with the customer.

We use:

- Silk Satin
- Velvet
- Organza
- Lycra (our newest edition)
"How do I take care of my Tropicology products? "

"Can I sell your items?"
Your purchase of any Tropicology product is only for personal use. By purchasing from us you essentially agree to not resell our products commercially.
